What's New
This month
Cast your workout to any screen — permanently
Pair a TV or tablet with your account once, bookmark it, and it follows every workout automatically — no code to re-enter. You still get AirPlay to an Apple TV and a quick 6-digit code for one-off screens. Flip on casting during a workout and a stadium-style scoreboard lights up on the wall: live heart rate, target zone, segment timer, and rest countdown.
A sharper live scoreboard
The TV and web view now shows a five-zone heart-rate gauge so you can read your effort at a glance, a cleaner heart-rate trend line, your estimated 1-rep max on working sets, and accurate per-exercise set counts.
Ask your coach mid-workout
A chat button inside the workout lets you calculate a percentage, swap a lift, or get a quick how-to without leaving the session — and the whole conversation stays attached to that workout for later.
A coach that plans with you
Before it builds a plan, the AI coach now asks a few quick, tappable questions — how many days, what to focus on, what equipment you have, whether to stick to familiar lifts or explore new ones — so the result fits from the first draft.
Deeper insights
Swipe between a muscle-load heatmap and a balance radar to see where your training is stacking up and where it's thin. Volume is now load-aware, so the numbers reflect the weight you actually moved — not just how many reps you logged.
Recently
Body-composition tracking
Snap a progress photo and Apex Zone's AI scores your development across six body regions on a radar chart, tracked shot over shot — the objective physique trend the mirror can't show you day to day. Pro
Calorie tracking, minus the database
A Food tab where you describe a meal in plain language — or snap a photo — and the AI estimates calories and macros. No barcode hunting, no 40-item database search for a bowl of oatmeal.
Goals you can actually track
Set structured goals — bodyweight, steps, workouts per week, and more — and the coach knows them, references them, and nudges you toward them.
Buddies, front and center
Training partners and their PRs now live on your Home screen, and you can invite someone with a single link.
A faster start
New here? Onboarding now ends with a real, coach-built first workout tuned to your goals and equipment — not an empty app you have to figure out.
Earlier
Barbell complexes with a guided round runner, Apple Health workout import (with routes and heart rate), and a neural voice coach that calls your interval cues out loud.
Get it on your phone
Apex Zone is the hybrid-training app for people who lift and do conditioning — an AI coach grounded in your real data, heart-rate zones, nutrition, and progress you can see.
