Dumbbell Incline Row

Dumbbell Middle Back

The Dumbbell Incline Row is a strength movement that targets your middle back. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Dumbbell Incline Row

  1. Set an incline bench to 30–45 degrees and lie chest-down with a dumbbell hanging from each hand.
  2. Pull both dumbbells toward your hips, driving elbows straight back and squeezing your shoulder blades together.
  3. Hold the contraction briefly at the top, then lower to a full hang.
  4. Keep your chest in contact with the pad — don't lift your torso to help the pull.
