The Mixed Grip Chin is a strength movement that targets your middle back. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Mixed Grip Chin

  1. Take one hand supinated (palm toward you) and one hand pronated (palm away) on the bar, slightly wider than shoulder-width.
  2. Pull until your chin clears the bar, leading with your chest.
  3. Lower under control until your arms are fully extended.
  4. Alternate which hand is supinated each set to balance the load.
