T-Bar Row with Handle

Barbell Middle Back

The T-Bar Row with Handle is a strength movement that targets your middle back. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the T-Bar Row with Handle

  1. Straddle the barbell with a neutral-grip handle underneath and hinge to roughly 45 degrees.
  2. Drive your elbows back and row the bar to your lower chest.
  3. Keep your back flat and chest up — don't round through the lumbar.
  4. Lower the weight under control to full arm extension.
