Bottoms-Up Clean From The Hang Position

Kettlebells Forearms

The Bottoms-Up Clean From The Hang Position is a strength movement that targets your forearms. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Bottoms-Up Clean From The Hang Position

  1. Hold the kettlebell by the handle with the bell pointing up, starting at hip height with a slight hinge.
  2. Drive your hips forward and pull the bell to rack position, keeping the bell vertical throughout.
  3. Grip the handle as hard as possible — your grip controls the bell's stability.
  4. Catch the clean in a firm rack with your elbow tucked and wrist stacked over your forearm.
