Plate Pinch

Other Forearms

The Plate Pinch is a strength movement that targets your forearms. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Plate Pinch

  1. Hold two weight plates smooth-side out, pinched between your thumb and fingers at your side.
  2. Stand tall and hold the pinch for the target duration without resting the plate on your leg.
  3. Keep your wrist neutral — resist curling your fingers into a hook grip.
  4. Switch hands only when you can no longer maintain the pinch.
