Band Assisted Pull-Up

Other Lats

The Band Assisted Pull-Up is a strength movement that targets your lats. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Band Assisted Pull-Up

  1. Loop the band over the bar and place one or both knees in the band beneath you.
  2. Start from a dead hang with an overhand grip slightly wider than shoulder-width.
  3. Pull your chest toward the bar by driving your elbows down and back.
  4. Lower yourself under full control until your arms are completely extended before the next rep.
