How to do the Bench Press - With Bands

  1. Anchor the bands securely under the bench legs or rack pegs before loading the bar.
  2. Set up with the same tight back, retracted scapulae, and flat feet as a standard bench press.
  3. Resist the bands actively on the way down — they will pull the bar toward the floor.
  4. Drive hard through lockout; band tension increases as you approach the top.
