The Butterfly is a strength movement that targets your chest. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Butterfly

  1. Sit upright and adjust the seat so the handles align with mid-chest.
  2. Drive both arms together in a controlled arc until they meet in front.
  3. Squeeze the chest at peak contraction before releasing slowly.
  4. Keep a slight bend in the elbows throughout — never fully lock out.
