Cable Iron Cross

Cable Chest

The Cable Iron Cross is a strength movement that targets your chest. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Cable Iron Cross

  1. Set both pulleys high, stand centered, and grip one handle each hand with arms spread wide.
  2. Pull both handles down and inward in a sweeping arc, meeting at waist level.
  3. Lean slightly forward from the hips and maintain a fixed bend in your elbows throughout.
  4. Control the eccentric — resist the cables as your arms return to the start.
