How to do the Chain Press
- Lie flat on the bench and grip the bar just outside shoulder width.
- Lower the bar under control to your chest—the chains de-load here, making the bottom easier.
- Press to full lockout; the chains load progressively as you rise, peaking at the top.
- Don't let the chain tension rush your descent—own every inch of the rep.
