Full Range-Of-Motion Lat Pulldown

Cable Lats

The Full Range-Of-Motion Lat Pulldown is a strength movement that targets your lats. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Full Range-Of-Motion Lat Pulldown

  1. Sit at the cable station with a grip slightly wider than shoulder-width and let your arms fully extend so your scapulae rise at the top.
  2. Pull the bar to your upper chest leading with your elbows, depressing and retracting your shoulder blades.
  3. Hold the contracted position briefly before returning.
  4. Control the bar all the way back to full arm extension — no half reps.
