Overhead Slam

Medicine ball Lats

The Overhead Slam is a plyometrics movement that targets your lats. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Overhead Slam

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, hold the medicine ball with both hands and raise it fully overhead.
  2. Engage your core and slam the ball straight down into the ground as hard as possible.
  3. Hinge slightly at the hips as you slam — let the lats and core drive the movement.
  4. Catch or pick up the ball with control and reset before the next rep.

Train it in Apex Zone
