The Smith Machine Decline Press is a strength movement that targets your chest. Here's how to do it with clean form.
How to do the Smith Machine Decline Press
- Set the bench to a decline of 15–30 degrees and secure your legs, positioning the bar over your lower chest.
- Lower the bar to your lower chest under control, keeping your shoulder blades retracted.
- Press back to full extension without locking out aggressively.
- Keep your wrists straight and don't let the bar drift toward your abdomen.
