Wide-Grip Decline Barbell Pullover

Barbell Chest

The Wide-Grip Decline Barbell Pullover is a strength movement that targets your chest. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Wide-Grip Decline Barbell Pullover

  1. Lie on the decline bench and hold the barbell with a wide overhand grip, arms extended above your chest.
  2. Maintaining a slight bend in your elbows, lower the bar in an arc behind your head.
  3. Return to the start position by reversing the arc — lead with the bar, not your hips.
  4. Keep your core braced; don't let your lower back arch excessively as the bar descends.
