How to do the Barbell Ab Rollout

  1. Load small plates on the barbell and stand behind it, feet hip-width.
  2. Brace your core hard before the bar moves.
  3. Roll forward until your hips are near parallel — stop before your lower back arches.
  4. Pull the bar back by contracting your abs, not by hiking your hips.
