The Board Press is a powerlifting movement that targets your triceps. Here's how to do it with clean form.
How to do the Board Press
- Set up on the bench as you would for a standard bench press, with a board resting on your chest.
- Lower the bar to the board under control, pause briefly, then drive to full lockout.
- Keep your arch, retracted shoulder blades, and wrists stacked directly over your elbows.
- Have a spotter hold the board securely so it doesn't shift during the lift.
