How to do the Calf Press On The Leg Press Machine

  1. Set a light load and sit in the leg press with legs nearly straight; place only the balls of your feet on the bottom edge of the platform.
  2. Disengage the safeties and let your heels drop into a full stretch.
  3. Press the platform away by extending your ankles to full plantar flexion.
  4. Do not bend your knees during the set — this is an ankle-only movement.
