How to do the Calf Raise On A Dumbbell

  1. Place the ball of one or both feet on the edge of a dumbbell lying flat on the floor.
  2. Stand tall, hold something for balance if needed, and lower your heel toward the floor.
  3. Rise onto your toes as high as possible and hold for one second.
  4. Move slowly — the dumbbell can roll, so keep pressure through the ball of the foot.
