Decline Dumbbell Triceps Extension

Dumbbell Triceps

The Decline Dumbbell Triceps Extension is a strength movement that targets your triceps. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Decline Dumbbell Triceps Extension

  1. Lie back on the decline bench with feet secured and hold dumbbells directly above your shoulders, palms facing each other.
  2. Keeping your upper arms fixed and vertical, hinge at the elbows to lower the dumbbells toward your temples.
  3. Extend your elbows to full lockout; only your forearms move.
  4. Keep your elbows narrow — flaring them shifts the load away from the triceps.
