How to do the Floor Press
- Lie on the floor with the barbell over your chest, upper arms resting flat on the ground.
- Press to full lockout, then lower until your triceps make contact with the floor.
- Pause briefly when your triceps touch—use the floor as your depth marker, not a bounce.
- Keep your feet flat and core tight; your range of motion ends where the floor stops you.
