The Good Morning is a powerlifting movement that targets your hamstrings. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Good Morning

  1. Place the barbell across your upper traps and stand with feet hip-width apart.
  2. Soft bend in the knees, then hinge at the hips until your torso is near parallel to the floor.
  3. Keep your back flat and core braced throughout the movement.
  4. Drive your hips forward to return to standing — do not hyperextend at the top.
