Janda Sit-Up
The Janda Sit-Up is a strength movement that targets your abdominals. Here's how to do it with clean form.
How to do the Janda Sit-Up
- Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
- Actively dig your heels into the floor to contract your hamstrings and glutes.
- Rise using only your abs — the hamstring contraction inhibits hip flexor involvement.
- Lower slowly under control, maintaining heel pressure throughout.
