How to do the One Arm Supinated Dumbbell Triceps Extension

  1. Hold one dumbbell with a supinated (underhand) grip and raise your arm overhead.
  2. Keep your upper arm vertical and your elbow pointing straight up.
  3. Lower the dumbbell behind your head by hinging at the elbow, then press to full extension.
  4. The supinated grip increases the stretch on the long head—control the eccentric.
