The Plate Twist is a strength movement that targets your abdominals. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Plate Twist

  1. Sit on the floor with knees bent, feet slightly elevated, and hold a weight plate at chest height.
  2. Lean back until your torso is at roughly 45 degrees, keeping your spine long.
  3. Rotate your torso side to side, touching the plate to the floor on each rep.
  4. Control the rotation from your obliques, not your arms.
