How to do the Preacher Curl
- Sit at the preacher bench and press the backs of your upper arms flat against the pad.
- Grip the barbell at shoulder width and curl it up until your forearms are vertical.
- Lower the bar slowly to full elbow extension—don't let it drop.
- Keep your upper arms pinned to the pad throughout; don't shrug or lean back.
