The Runner's Stretch is a stretching movement that targets your hamstrings. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Runner's Stretch

  1. Step one foot forward into a long lunge and lower your back knee to the ground.
  2. Keep your front foot flat and your front shin vertical over your ankle.
  3. Sink your hips toward the floor until you feel a stretch through the hip flexor of the rear leg.
  4. Hold for the prescribed time, then switch sides.
