Seated Dumbbell Curl

Dumbbell Biceps

The Seated Dumbbell Curl is a strength movement that targets your biceps. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Seated Dumbbell Curl

  1. Sit upright on a bench, feet flat, a dumbbell in each hand hanging at your sides with palms forward.
  2. Curl both dumbbells toward your shoulders, keeping your elbows pinned to your sides.
  3. Squeeze at the top, then lower with control.
  4. Don't swing your torso; all movement comes from the elbow joint.
