The Seated Hamstring and Calf Stretch is a stretching movement that targets your hamstrings. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Seated Hamstring and Calf Stretch

  1. Sit on the floor with one leg extended and loop a strap or towel around the ball of that foot.
  2. Hinge forward at the hips with a flat back and gently pull the strap to dorsiflex your ankle.
  3. Hold for 20–30 seconds, feeling tension from the calf up through the hamstring.
  4. Keep the knee straight but not forcefully locked.
