How to do the Standing Dumbbell Calf Raise

  1. Hold a dumbbell in each hand at your sides and stand with the balls of your feet on an elevated surface.
  2. Let your heels drop below the surface for a full stretch at the bottom.
  3. Rise onto the balls of your feet and squeeze your calves at the top.
  4. Move through the full range and avoid shortening the rep by bouncing.
