How to do the Standing Overhead Barbell Triceps Extension

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell overhead with a narrow overhand grip.
  2. Keep both upper arms vertical and close to your head throughout the movement.
  3. Lower the bar behind your head by bending at the elbows until forearms are parallel to the floor.
  4. Press back to full lockout without flaring your elbows outward.
