How to do the Stiff-Legged Dumbbell Deadlift

  1. Stand holding dumbbells in front of your thighs, feet hip-width apart, slight knee bend.
  2. Hinge at the hips and lower the dumbbells close to your legs, maintaining a neutral spine.
  3. Stop when you feel a strong hamstring stretch — don't round your lower back to reach lower.
  4. Squeeze your glutes and drive your hips forward to return to standing.
