Sumo Deadlift with Chains

Barbell Hamstrings

The Sumo Deadlift with Chains is a powerlifting movement that targets your hamstrings. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Sumo Deadlift with Chains

  1. Drape chains evenly over the bar so they deload fully on the floor at the start position.
  2. Take your sumo stance, brace hard, and pull just as you would a standard sumo deadlift.
  3. Drive with maximum intent through the top half where chain weight is greatest.
  4. Lower the bar until all chain links contact the floor before resetting for the next rep.

Train it in Apex Zone
