Wide Stance Stiff Legs

Barbell Hamstrings

The Wide Stance Stiff Legs is a olympic weightlifting movement that targets your hamstrings. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Wide Stance Stiff Legs

  1. Stand with feet wide and toes flared, holding the bar at hip height with a soft knee bend.
  2. Hinge at your hips, pushing them back as you lower the bar down your legs.
  3. Maintain a flat back and keep the bar close to your body throughout the descent.
  4. Drive your hips forward to return to standing — don't round your lower back to pull the bar up.
