The Alternating Deltoid Raise is a strength movement that targets your shoulders. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Alternating Deltoid Raise

  1. Stand holding a dumbbell in each hand with arms at your sides.
  2. Raise one arm straight out to shoulder height — either to the front or side — then lower it.
  3. Keep a slight bend in the elbow and don't shrug your shoulder.
  4. Alternate arms each rep and control the descent.
