Axle Deadlift
The Axle Deadlift is a strongman movement that targets your lower back. Here's how to do it with clean form.
How to do the Axle Deadlift
- Stand with the axle over your mid-foot, feet hip-width apart.
- Grip the axle just outside your legs and brace your core hard before breaking the floor.
- Drive the floor away, keeping the bar close to your body as hips and shoulders rise together.
- The thicker diameter reduces grip security — squeeze harder and do not let the bar drift forward.
