Barbell Lunge

Barbell Quadriceps

The Barbell Lunge is a strength movement that targets your quadriceps. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Barbell Lunge

  1. Position the barbell across your upper traps and stand with feet hip-width apart.
  2. Step forward and lower your rear knee toward the floor without letting it slam down.
  3. Keep your front shin as vertical as possible and your torso upright.
  4. Drive through your front heel to return to standing before alternating legs.
