Barbell Shrug
The Barbell Shrug is a strength movement that targets your traps. Here's how to do it with clean form.
How to do the Barbell Shrug
- Stand tall holding the bar in front of your thighs with an overhand grip just outside hip width.
- Elevate your shoulders straight up toward your ears as high as possible.
- Hold the top position briefly before lowering with control.
- Do not roll your shoulders — move them in a straight vertical path only.
