How to do the Calf-Machine Shoulder Shrug

  1. Stand inside the calf machine with the pads resting on your shoulders, feet flat on the platform.
  2. Keep your arms straight and let the load sit entirely on the shoulder pads.
  3. Shrug straight up toward your ears — no rolling, no neck craning.
  4. Pause one second at the top, then lower under control.
