The Dumbbell Shrug is a strength movement that targets your traps. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Dumbbell Shrug

  1. Stand holding dumbbells at your sides with a neutral grip, arms straight.
  2. Elevate your shoulders straight up toward your ears as high as possible.
  3. Hold briefly at the top; do not roll your shoulders forward or backward.
  4. Lower slowly back to the starting position.
