Barbell Step Ups

Barbell Quadriceps

The Barbell Step Ups is a strength movement that targets your quadriceps. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Barbell Step Ups

  1. Bar across your upper traps, stand facing a knee-height box with feet together.
  2. Place one foot fully on the box and drive through that heel to stand.
  3. Bring the trailing foot up to meet the lead foot before stepping back down.
  4. Keep your torso upright — don't push off the back foot.
