External Rotation with Band

Bands Shoulders

The External Rotation with Band is a strength movement that targets your shoulders. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the External Rotation with Band

  1. Anchor the band at elbow height and stand sideways to it.
  2. Pin your elbow to your side at 90° and rotate your forearm outward.
  3. Stop when your forearm is roughly parallel to the floor—don't over-rotate.
  4. Control the return; don't let the band snap your arm back in.
