Front Plate Raise

Other Shoulders

The Front Plate Raise is a strength movement that targets your shoulders. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Front Plate Raise

  1. Hold a weight plate with both hands at hip height, arms nearly straight.
  2. Raise the plate directly in front of you to shoulder height.
  3. Keep your core braced and avoid leaning back as the plate rises.
  4. Lower the plate under control back to the start.
