Hip Extension with Bands

Bands Glutes

The Hip Extension with Bands is a strength movement that targets your glutes. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Hip Extension with Bands

  1. Anchor the band low and loop it around one ankle, standing facing the anchor.
  2. Shift weight to your standing leg and brace your core.
  3. Drive the banded leg straight back, squeezing the glute at the top.
  4. Keep hips square—don't rotate or hike to get range.
