Iron Cross

Dumbbell Shoulders

The Iron Cross is a strength movement that targets your shoulders. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the Iron Cross

  1. Stand holding dumbbells at your sides with a slight bend in each elbow.
  2. Raise both arms out to shoulder height to form a T, palms facing down.
  3. Hold briefly at the top, then lower under control.
  4. Keep your torso still — don't use momentum or shrug your shoulders.
