One-Arm Side Deadlift

Barbell Quadriceps

The One-Arm Side Deadlift is a strength movement that targets your quadriceps. Here's how to do it with clean form.

How to do the One-Arm Side Deadlift

  1. Stand beside the barbell with it parallel to your body, feet hip-width apart.
  2. Hinge at the hips and grip the bar at your side with one hand, spine neutral.
  3. Drive through your heels and extend your hips and knees simultaneously to stand.
  4. Keep the bar close to your leg and avoid laterally flexing your torso as you lift.
