How to do the One-Arm Side Laterals
- Stand tall with the dumbbell at your side, palm facing your thigh.
- Raise the dumbbell out to the side with a slight bend in the elbow until your arm is parallel to the floor.
- Lead with your elbow, not your wrist, and avoid shrugging your shoulder.
- Lower the weight slowly under control back to the starting position.
