Rack Pull with Bands
The Rack Pull with Bands is a powerlifting movement that targets your lower back. Here's how to do it with clean form.
How to do the Rack Pull with Bands
- Set the bar in the rack just below, at, or above the knee and attach bands anchored under the rack feet.
- Hinge at the hips with a neutral spine, grip the bar just outside your legs.
- Drive your feet into the floor and pull the bar by extending your hips and knees simultaneously.
- Lock out fully at the top — squeeze your glutes and pull your shoulders back; the bands increase resistance as you rise.
