How to do the Side Lateral Raise

  1. Stand with dumbbells at your sides and a slight bend in your elbows.
  2. Raise both arms out to the sides until they reach shoulder height.
  3. Lead with your elbows, not your hands.
  4. Lower slowly and avoid shrugging your traps.
