Snatch
The Snatch is a olympic weightlifting movement that targets your quadriceps. Here's how to do it with clean form.
How to do the Snatch
- Set up with a wide snatch grip, bar over mid-foot, hips above knees, chest tall.
- Pull the bar explosively off the floor, staying over it until it passes the knee, then drive with a powerful hip extension and shrug.
- Pull yourself under the bar aggressively, catching it overhead in a full squat with arms locked out.
- Stand to full extension with the bar stable overhead before stepping out — no soft-armed catches.
